Q1 : What are the Linen Liners?
Linen liners are fabric-covered mouldings, used inside the outer moulding in a wooden or metal frame design. Our linen covered liners are available with lips and in different sizes, colors and cuts, ensuring the ideal fit for your most prized paintings, prints and photographs. Colors available are White, Natural and Black, with and without golden lips, from 1" to 4" face width. Order online: Linen Liners

Q2 : When should I use a Linen Liner?
Historically, linen liners were used with oil paintings. The liner fits between your artwork and the wooden or metal frame, and are often used in place of mats on framed canvas prints or oil paintings. Order online: Linen Liners

Q3 : What's the difference between a linen liner and a mat?
A linen liner is made of linen stretched over a wooden frame, while a mat is a thin, flat piece of paper-based material. Mats are used to separate the art from the glass and the frame. Putting mats in a frame is called matting. Linen liners are also used to separate the artwork from the frame, but these pieces are generally used with canvas paintings or prints, and displayed without glass.
